Hi! Welcome to my new home on the internet!

A little bit about myself. I am passionate about photography. Like many photographers, the arrival of my child prompted me to start "capturing memories" with the camera. A few years later my trusty little Pentax camera was ousted in favour of a fancy camera' and the desire to have more control over what I was creating. I wanted to move up a level, take more control and create top quality images. Create art. Something beautiful to save and look at for many years to come. (These years fly by so quickly...)

My six year old daughter asked me recently why I enjoy photography so much, and I answered her as follows. "I see beauty everywhere. I want to capture that beauty and show it to other people so they can view the world in the same way that I do. When we drive by a frosty field, many people won't notice it, or might notice it and think of how annoying the ice is, or how cold it is making things, whereas I look at the field and see beauty in the softened muted colours, the gentle greys and greens, the mist softly hovering over the whitened grass. I just want to capture that and show people how beautiful the world really can be".

Its true. I am by nature a 'visual person'. I see beauty all over the place. Not just in people's faces, but also in ploughed fields, autumn leaves, old buildings, new buildings, forests, the sea, flowers, anything! I think that photography opens up your eyes so that you are constantly framing scenes in your mind's eye, and it is truly satisfying to be able to transfer those mental images into a format that other people can enjoy.

So here I am. Taking the next big leap in photography and offering my services to those who would like beautiful photographs. I have many projects in the pipeline, mostly involving models and crazy make-up ideas, but also involving some fantastic ideas for children. I'm hoping to run 'Fairy Shoots' and 'Frozen Shoots' for the little girls, and 'Keeler Boudoir Sessions' for the bigger girls :)
